Osteopathic Basic Programme
Orientation and Introduction to Osteopathy:
- An overview of osteopathy as a healthcare discipline.
- Introduction to the history, philosophy, and principles of osteopathy.
- Understanding the scope of practice and ethical considerations in osteopathic care.
Anatomy and Physiology:
- In-depth study of the musculoskeletal system, including bones, muscles, and joints.
- Exploration of the nervous system and its relationship to osteopathic practice.
- Understanding the circulatory, respiratory, and other physiological systems relevant to osteopathy.
Osteopathic Techniques:
- Introduction to various osteopathic techniques, such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and muscle energy techniques.
